wanting more lope sound

So I want to add a cam for a better sound while I'm traveling in the no wake zones. Might sound nuts but I want it to sound meaner. What cam do you guys recomend for a stock 502. I don't mind doing mild head work if I have to, like I said I just want more lope at idle.

Rockers with more ratio will make more duration and lift acting like a small bump up to. A bigger cam.

i feel the same way, love the lopey idle. Problem is you may have to change your exhaust to prevent reversion.

Really?

I never heard of just changing the rockers before, but thats why I am asking here. I am no gear head by any means and dont want to take it to a shop and get molested.

EFI youre ging to be limited .if not than exaust deffinately will play a factor .. so much more to it than just a lopey cam though ... id be more worried about a complete power pakage that performs great .. just cause its lopey doesnt mean its going to run better .

Just cross the plug wires when you pull in to the marina like some of the guys did in the old days when cruising the drive inn.

They can do the ghost cam in the mustang because they have variable intake and exhaust cam timing.
