Default looking for my first boat

Hi I I'm looking for my first boat and can't figure out what kind to get. I have about 30k to spend and be comfortable. I have looked at fountain fever 27, baja, donzi and everything in between. I'm just looking for the most bang for my buck. As I live in northern indiana I have notice I'm going to have to make a good drive to find one since I have not been able to find much around here. There is really no market here for performance boat. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

You can get a nice late 90's early 2000's fountain 27 in your price range. Stick with the 502, and you might even get one already supercharged for that price. I know I will get slammed by saying this but the baja will not out perform the fountain, and the Donzi will price you out of your bracket.

27' Fountain is more like a 24' boat Also baja's will be easier to resell when you get two foot itis. There is a reason there is a TON of fountain's for sale all the time. You might also be able to get your self into a mid-late 90's formula. 272, 312 sr1. Maybe even a fastec if you find a guy really needing to sell his boat.

But there should be tons of great boats out there around 30k. Like Zeek said, try and stay with a 502 mag efi.

Also with the end of the boating season coming, up your holding the cards and can probably get a pretty good deal on one.

I live in Columbus Indiana, and have a really low Hour Fountain Fever 27'. It is a stepped hull 1999 and It has a 509" fuel injected motor with a Vortech Supercharger and intercooler. The motor has 173 hours and the boat has around 288hours. It has full hydraulic external steering and K-planes. Loaded with every option!!This boat has been kept inside it's entire life and has a perfect interior and a beautiful exterior. never any damage!! It has two new fuel pumps and a new sea water pump. Absolutely water ready. We can hit Monroe for a test drive with no worries. Comes with nice tandem axle trailer!! 29,000 firm!! I also own an older Baja.

I recently sold this formula, and it is back on the market. The owner is looking to go to a CAT. There are a few threads on the forum about the boat. It's a good one.
