Hey guys! Recently after going through race gas vs. e-85 in the supercharging drag racing world. I'm putting this topic
Back up for learning purposes. If any body has seen new Ideas or has had great luck in this process. Please shed some light.
Also keep in mind my boat will have fuel removed flushed and is only used for very light pleasure cruising but mostly just having fun racing back in the cricks- as we call it. Gph has no play here. looking to maximize my power potential. . Please no bashers. Thanks guys!

Yes it is has many advantages in running in the car application. I'm currently running 23lbs of boost with a 2.3
Whipple making 699rwhp on e85 , 645 on 93 octane, (04 cobra/ fords terminator car) .. Also my truck is flex fuel and I'm converting my street trucks to e-85 for power reasons only. Figured I would convert my carbed 454 n/a (high compression) in the IMP in hopes for a few more mph. Also all my vehicles are driven maybe 5k miles a year.

e85 has a much higher octane rating than pump gas but it burns a lot more fuel per mile, for drag race type of boating i think it would be great, but for long runs you might need to add another fuel tank.

E10 does not even work with glass tanks. My brother converted his jet boat with no issues and there is a ton of info on Performanceboats.com on the subject. A lot of forced induction vdrive and jet guys are going in that direction.

Good stuff keep it coming! I also have a jet boat in process of restoration. Also with custom stainless built tanks. My current boat has aluminum tank-100 gallon and I also need new fuel system. Might as well setup for e-85! Should last me a good while. Lol if I fill it!! I've never ran more than 30 gallons.

I drag race a drag radial X275 Ultra Street car, using a 6.0 LS with a Turbo, no intercooler on E85 love it !! we run 25lbs of boost right now right at 1000hp, we also use water.meth injection to cool the inlet temp some...but overall can't beat the E85 @ 2.85 gal !!!!, you will need to a fuel system to move 40% more fuel, so keep that in mind..my fuel system(magnafuel) is good for 2500hp....
