Smitty...lets say you were cruisen and the tach was at 5k ands 12 lbs of boost with 93 octane fuel,,would you think the intercooler would be able to sustain a cool temperature with out causing detonation?

heads are dart 355 cnc cam is hyd roller,i cant remember the specs on duration, lift is around .650,the cams are not off the shelf peices.the hp numbers i posted were at 6000 rpm,as we took it to 7000 numbers went up but im proping for 6000 to 6200 rpm so 7000 rpm numbers dont matter.

I have a 31 SonicSS 1990 I know its older but its fun..468 cu,Chevys.I have the smallest M1SCs they make 9 psi of boost and on the dyno about 700 hp at 5700 RPM..Also single plane intake and Merlin Square port heads,With full roller cam and roller lifters..You will also want heavy duty connecting rods..These work well for this boat you could not possibly put anything bigger under the hatch because of space..

Smitty, CNC, What are you higher boost guys running for plugs? Heat range wise.

Also, what is your target AFR at wot?
