Oil pump pressure relief valve?

Got the motor back from the machinist. All of my bearings were still intact. No material was missing from my bearings. They only had extra material imbedded in them. So basically something got into my oiling system. I'm pretty sure the previous owner of the motor transferred his old oil cooler and remote oil filter setup to this engine when he replaced his motor with spun bearings. This really can be the only explanation since I had bearing material in my filter as shown in my previous post. So the crank was polished, new bearings and new oil pump. Since he had it all apart he put new rings in and honed the cylinders. Sux for a 10 hr motor. Anyway everything is back together, oiling system is primed, but I'm not going to start it until next year due to it being in storage.
