Years ago I thought I would be proactive and replace my 10 yr old Holley Blue pumps with new Blue pumps. After going through 3 new pumps and one intermittently dropping pressure to 2-3psi I stopped using them. Now out of 5 pumps only 1 of the 15+yr old pumps still works. These were on my Merc 420's.
I now only use them as a transfer pump.

I replaced them with Mallory 140's and have them mounted low in my bilge (same place as the Holley's). Been using the Mallory's over the last 6yrs on my 600HP 454's.

I Like those! Maybe next year if I decide to bolt my blowers on!

I've heard good things about them. For the price, the better be nothing short of maintenance free! I hope that I "get what I paid for".....
