I am thinking about getting some shorties for my boat eather 1 or 2 in and was wondering if any one is running them and what gains thay had and was it worth the cost. My boat is a 2000 donzi 33 zx with 500 efi's spinning 28 four blades with standard bravo one x drives.

I was also thinking about getting some boxes too also I have the twin step hull.

I have the first 33ZX made and put extension boxes and "shorties" on approx. two years after buying to try and get more speed and stability. I took the shorties off and sold them the same year
as they made no difference. I still have the extension boxes, which was also a waste of money. I did upgrade the HP500's to EFI and Whipple blowers, but it was more power than the boat
can handle.
