Know this has been asked before but can't seem to find the thread. What head gaskets are needed to run Gen 4 heads on a Gen 5 block. Any one have a fel pro # And will the gen 4 push rods work??Because the Gen 5 heads used the non adjustable type rocker studs.Thanks JOHN SR

Gen 5 head gaskets, I think 17048 for 454, 17049 for 502? May be way off have to check those numbers and pushrod length needs to be measured.

its going to be his or mis,,some people have problems with water in oil leaks doing this and some dont,,i say stick with the gen 5/6 head and use the arp rocker studs for that gen 5/6 head..or go with the conversion kit ... http://www.competitionproducts.com/G...ductinfo/6172/
