Reversion, Reversion Reversion
It seems to hit many people, is it an issue with through prop exhaust and stock manifolds also? is there anything I can do to prevent it while the motor is still out? Maybe new flappers?
can turbulators be retrofitted?
Stock exhaust will be fine if your running a stock engine. If cam has been upgraded you may need to change exhaust depending on the specs.
Through prop will rob performance. |

ss or rubber does not make a difference IMO. flappers, and maybe even on the outside , might help, slowing down slowly not to take the hit from the wave behind... couple different things can help!
those pipes in the picture are level then drop down with no internal flappers then came off plane to fast and steam cleaned some exhaust ports:lolhit:
I backed a non-thru hull into launch too quick and caused it also!! On thru hull: If no internal flappers, get external and i always give her a little throttle when she is about to sit in water coming off plane.
