IMCO or Sportsmaster Lower?
Is this an IMCO or a Sportsmaster Lower. Its 9.25" from the top where the lower bolts to the upper to the center of the prop shaft. The prop shaft is 1" and the input shaft is 1.25". Can't see any identifying markings on it.

Looks like an Imco to me. Should have a mark stamped in the housing -0, -1 or -2. Meaning standard length, 1" shorter or 2" shorter. The stamping would be forward of the vertical shaft, right at the front point of the drive on the horizontal flat surface. In the 3rd picture it would be on the right, under the dirt at the point of the drive.

Here's mine. Yours looks the same, except it appears to be 1 or 2" shorter.

Thanks for posting this for me Eddie. Whats it worth If it is an imco? As-is....Operates fine without any noises, not sure of hours or last time it was gone over. Ill check for the stamps tonight to try and be sure it is an imco.

Look for the stamp for sure, might be worth more to someone if it is a -2.
