Default 2000 7.4L Modifications

I am wanting to pickup a few horses out of my 2000 7.4L MPI. I believe this engine is also called the generation VI or L29. Are the heads sufficient for cam and intake upgrades. Has anyone installed a set of adjustable rocker rollers? What are the best upgrades for these engines?

I have the 1999 7.4L MPI. The heads are good unless you plan on supercharging the engine. They have a widows peak in the chamber that either needs to be smoothed out or replace the whole head. The reason for this is due to a hot spot that occurs in this area and will cause severe detonation under boost. Some cases these heads dont cause the detonation but If they do your engine is toast. I changed my heads to the earlier design with the peanut ports when I supercharged. Picked up 18 MPH as of last weekend and still dont have the tune just right.
