Yeah no kidding!
But in those 3-4 months we pack it in , every weekend no excuses. Its a good reason to avoid all those lame events people /relatives invite you to. Kids B day parties, barbecues, graduations, baptism, communions..
So sorry, we`re boaters , our weekends are all booked up the entire summer
Leave Friday come back Sunday

Why put all that effort into a hull that will never be able to handle 8 ft waves at 65-70 mph. It's a total waste of time. You can not boat in any lake with less than a 35 foot cig. There are at least 15 boats for sale within 3000 miles of where you are. If you are on a budget use the cash you have for a downpayment and just finance the rest. There is a 38 ft Scarab in the classifieds that is within 45k of your budget.

If you post the part # of these I'll return the favor and give you the # of my secret adjustable pop up pistons that you can adjust on the fly for different octane fuel.

This thread is a classic. Lots of good go fast budget info here. Hahahaha I guess looking for a 42 fountain with 525s is overkill. Just need a slightly rotted bayliner with a 4cyl and caddy fuel injection and a big lower unit with aluminum prop. Damn. That'll save me some money. Hahahaah
