you cant get the good ones for 4k anymore more like 5 to 6 k but if you need it you will pay it.

If you can buy a set of props... Just bolt them on and get good performance all the way to the redline. It's worth it. I had that happen once

And if you wanna go real fast they are 13g's a piece and have special coatings on them for the type of water you are running in, if hey weren't coated they will fly apart...

Stimleck, have you ever been around manufacturing? I have, and those things look expensive as hell to build!

Each size requires a unique casting/forging, then they must be finished machined. Secondly the R&D on something like that ain't cheap, nor are they high production items. In manufacturing you must amortize the production costs, R&D included, over the production run. And then on top of that, they're a very niche product. Niche products generally have a high markup anyway.
