Icdedppl and I were talking about Mike's engine last night. It really is a fun piece, and makes our 800 and 900hp engines look like little girls. I like it because its old school muscle, with a modern twist thrown in (whipple). They really put ya in the seat in his 38 Fountain with 6's. The fun part is even with the twin 1050 carbs, it will idle at 900 in nuetral, and pretty docile around the docks.

Honestly, havent seen the full potential of the boat. It had some really crappy old 4 blade props, that weren't helping anything. Not only were they damaged a bit (Previous owner), they weren't even matched rpm wise. With that being said, we went 112-114 I believe, dragging a little tab and drives nuetral. He has a set of hering 5 blades to go on soon. Plus the bottom has been fully blueprinted since the last run.
