on a 330, a bravo is fine, less weight, less complexity, less drag...you will need to fill and recut the hole though.

I'll echo what others have said about the wet exhaust joint on Merc manifolds being the downfall of many an engine. I think an excellent upgrade for these engines would be a set of the 496 Merc manifolds, maybe a used take-off set. These are almost a bolt on item on a 330, and they eliminate the wet joint that causes all the problems.
