Mild Thunder - don't we always want to stay away from hard 90 degree bends when it comes to fluid flow? Wouldn't it be "better" to do a npt to an adapter:

If you have the room. Alot of pumps do not have room for pipe to AN and then full flow 90.
Anyhow, stock outlet is just 1/4" pipe. Therfore going to a -6 or -8 from 1/4" pipe into a 90 isn't that bad.
But, yeh, typically we want to get rid of hard 90's.
