Paul may be a great guy.
But he pretty much phucked himself around here over $400
That old Mr unit off a 1967 Mark Twain that he sold Spaz that was clearly asking for a SS unit was the straw that broke the camels back.
And than not only did he originally have the chance to send his $400 back and say hey keep the drive for the shipping charges since I phucked up.
No he goes on the thread that Spaz started about the outdrive and admits he did not know what he sent him
But because Spaz did not want to waste more shipping charges again with someone who clearly had no education with what parts he was selling by his own admittance and most likely had no intention of refunding his money,. Spaz said what the phuck I will keep it for a lawn ornament .
What a Dumbazz ,He phucked his whole deal over here on OSO over 400 bucks But he is a standup guy .
I am sure if I knew him he would buy me a beer and he is well spoken and nice.
Pauls Quote from the other thread about the SS unit he sold Spaz
did not know their were two kinds of alphas drives i told him i had it for over 10years in the shop
Really Paul how long have you been around offshore boats and their equipment , 1 ?
And 2 ? You have never in you life seen, heard , or read about a Alpha SS ? , And 3 know they are wanted by all small hiperformance boaters and worth a pretty penny and 4 that drive you sold is not only not a SS but not even from this century .
So I call Fraud plain and simple Dude .
You could have Maned up and payed the guy back his 400 bucks and all the other people you phucked in the past would have stayed under their rock for fear of being called a dumazz by you and your pom pom squad.

It wasn't 400 it was 300.
Spaz WAS offered his money back. But declined and decided to keep the drive since he knew most of the internal parts are iidentical and usable for his application. (Ask a Merc mechanic and its amazing what you find out)
If alpha SS drives are so rare and expensive what was he thinking picking one up for 300 bucks????
There was way more to that story but everyone already had a hard on for Paul and started swinging from spaz's nutsack so they judged by hearing 1 side and not the whole story.

I don't feel as though I have to answer to you but yes I'm a certified tech and no I don't own my own business I worked in a marina for 15 years so I know drives in and out
However I quit that job five years ago and now I work in a machine shop if it's really any of your business
