Yes , 850 Quickfuel Blower carbs . I've heard and read , mostly here on OSO , that they are the next best thing to fuel injection . I've always had Nickerson build my carbs prier to this .

Well I e-mailed Robbin at RBS Supercharges and got a reply within minutes , now that's service !! She is going to find me an answer . She is a BDS dealer but can get you anything you need for a great price . RBS even had the best price on my Quickfuel blower carbs by a substantial amount . Anyone reading this , now you know where to go !! 530-274-3835

You can also try Brian at DMPE, dude will talk blowers all day long. An expert to say the least.

Good luck!

BTW, that is a great pic! Me needs to upgrade to 871s but my XRs already hate what I have.

I was just going to suggest DMPE. They are great and as stated earlier Brian is very knowledgeable on blowers.

I have spoken to him . He told me right off what the numbers stamp meant , nobody seems to know what the letters mean although it has been suggested they are the original owners initials . Four letter initials , I don't thing I'm buying that . I have not had a chance to talk with Brian at DMPE .

Not your fault Fix . I'm just a small fish in a sea full of big fish . I'm really surprised one of you guys don't know the answer . All I've found out is I have a stage I blower . Looks like it's anodized on the inside dark grey and still don't know what rotors are in it . I suspect cast because I hear a slight tinkle when rotating them like a little loose debris inside a rotor but are they GM or BDS AirLock ? Maybe I have caught Budman II's disease of over thinking .

Icdedppl called BDS not too long ago when he aquired his 10-71 BDS blowers. They told him what stage they were, when they were made, and who they were sold to at that time which was around 1998. His I believe were air loc rotors, stripped on the outside, and insides of rotors.
