Default Perma-cool oil T-stat

I seem of lost my instructions for installing the perma-cool oil thermostat. I know that CheckmateF1 and traviss are running these thermostats, so I'm hoping you guys can help me out. I have half the stat already plumbed, I need to know where the line goes that comes from the motor and where the line goes that heads to the filter. The other two lines that go to the cooler are already plumbed. The layout would be alot nicer if I could have the line coming from the engine enter the the stat away from the metal plate/c-clip. I would like the line that is close to the clip to go to the oil filter. Would this be an acceptable layout?

Cord, I'll call the part of the stat with the clip the "top". One line comes from the block, through the filter, and into the bottom of the stat - the instructions call this connection E1. The other bottom connector - C1 - goes to the cooler. The return from the cooler - C2 - goes in the top. The other top connection - E2 - goes back to the block.

Cord, did you receive the instructional photo? They were sent to me from Eric (CheckmateF1) earlier this summer. The file was to big to post on OSO.
