In this situation, I would pull them off, throw them away and tell the customer that he needs new ones cause his are broke.:lolhit:
I've run into this a few times. I removed them and cut the pin between every part of the hinge with a band saw. It's real easy to control it on the band saw and it cuts right through it. I then heated each section one at a time with it in the press with a little tension on that section of the pin. Once you get some heat in the tab, the pin will cut loose and you can press it right out. Eddie |
