Just curious what sealant u use? Anybody use the gasket they offer?

4200/4800. Whichever one it was. No gaskets as I heard they can rot.

first i mount the tip with 1 screw and aleigh the holes..i take masking tape and tape around the exhaust tip real close then remove the tip...i dont use 4200,,i use life seal from west marine,smear some on the sealing surface,,mount the tip and then wipe cheal the excess sealer,,wait about 15 minutes and remove the tape for a smooth finish..it makes a clean install.

I used 4200.
