Default best exhaust for the dollar

what is the best exhaust for the dollar?
I have cmi's and old gills
I personally really think cmi's cause enough problems for the price they are

Used Keith Eickerts. Many members have gotten good deals on one of the best exhausts made.

+1 for eickerts (now thunder & lightning). I got a great deal on some very very low hour eickerts, and if you do your research, you will find they are the best. Traditional headers are great until they leak and take out your engine. Being that these are cast aluminum with 2 inch oval runners, they don't suffer from the typical header issues. I haven't run mine yet, however I have heard they have a distinct sound like nothing else out there.

Try posting in the wanted section and see what you come up with. The headers themselves retail for $3,000 just for reference. There are deals to be had. Good luck! I'm selling some low hour tails for cheap if you are using a bravo setup.

Picture above is an older version with the 2nd jumper hose. You get the idea though. Very innovative design for sure. 32 inches to the collector as well.

So far so good. I only have a few hours on them but I don't think I notice a difference from the CMI's. I think they look pretty decent too. plus they will last forever.
