you might try putting the bung in a tube vs collector...was thinking about trying that...don't waste you $$$ on putting in collector...

I have made quite a bit of progress with this experiment this week. Still have not killed a sensor. Currently I have the tip of my sniffer tube positioned 3" aft of the front end of my collector. Approx. 6" before the point water mixes in. I am pretty confident I am receiving an accurate AFR reading as I have compared plug readings and the general sound and feel of the motor to my AFR readings .As well I have confirmed these settings with the seasoned pro that originally set-up my Pro Charger. I have made some runs with this new set-up and have been able to do some fine tuning on the motor and am pleased with the results.

I wonder if a bigger pipe would help like 2-3" dia. 0r biggest to fit past the internal flappers if there are any. Maybe enough exhaust volumn to keep some of the heat in the exhaust going by the sensor.

I wonder what happens to the gasses when they cool, is it an accurate reading now?

I have inserted a link to a device used on Motorcycles that is very similar to what i am using. They claim virtually no difference

What does the curled up section of pipe do for the whole thing?
