no true marine offshore engine is complete unless it has efi,that caddy 2 pot unit should do the job.

I have a 454 with cast internals and 2 bolt main. what do you think about a 268/276 @ .050 108LSA cam? Also, I will be using stock cast iron manifolds with my silent choice and only going to turn 4600 RPM. My builder told me that cam would work great in my application. He's been building engines for 87 years. One of the most respected builders in the whole state. I totally trust him. But, still would like to know if you guys think its ok.

The cam is too small and probably not ground at the right time. I don't know if you guys know it but the stars have to be properly aligned in order to grind a good cam this only happens a couple times a year.

what state would your builder be from,let me guess TEXAS?i think the above cam is a little weak,if you really want low&midrande power you need a cam with 300/300 at .050 and a 106 lsa.

You'll need to run 13:1 deep dish blower pistons with that cam .
