Just looking for a little direction on what I need to do too go to a sea water pump on the block instead of using my Alpha SS. SS just loves sucking up the weeds and can stand it. I have already got a pick up thru the hull... just need a little info on what bracket and pump to use for the block.
Thanks!

If you're not using a circulating pump you can get the one with the billet bracket.

I have a Jabsco Bronze/Brass Merc replacement pump I used when I was a vbelt SBC setup. I have the Bracket and v-groove pulley on it as well. Probably ready for a new impeller, but was perfectly functional when I took it off. I can dig it out and snap some pictures of it if you are interested. I also have a crossover for a SBC if you wanted to go that route. Will your current crank pulley accommodate the belt for sea water pump, have one of those too?

i would think a stock bravo pump would be cheapest and easiest to find and you would be sure it would fit with an I/O setup. there are pumps that hang straight off the front of crank pulley-no belt. but few people have 4 inches in front of pulley unless we get out the sawzall and then tell people "don't sit in the middle of the seat!" make sure you close off alpha hose at the transom and you might wanna still run the alpha pump and let it squirt inside gimble housing. they say the water flow cools the upper like an internal drive shower. maybe even take hose inside transom and fold it back so it shoots at the drive.
