also while youre in there drain and replace the gear oil in there cause mine ended up having a bunch of fuel from the bad pump in it. with the new good pump you should carry round 8.5 at idle and round 6.5 or so running down the water.

Also check the fuel line to the engine. I had one collapsing internally at WOT only once. Right by the barb fitting.
