Default Bravo 1 question

Is there anything that needs to be wet inside a bravo 1 while it's running? The reason I'm asking is because I don't have my garden hose connection for the cone/low water pick up and I need to run the motor on the trailer. Can I put the garden hose in the pick up hose from the transom fitting?

Yes you can. In my opinion that is the preferred way. Gear lube will cover the outdrive needs.
