if i had water in bravo one fluid...

would it go to the bottom and i would see some come out when pulling bottom screw out? I had a leak in my outdrive top cap. Replaced the o rings and wanna check to see if water is i the fluid. Only have about one hour running time on the fluid that is in there now and dont wanna dump it if i dont have to.

Not sure if the specific gravity of gear lube is lower than water.

That said, I'd probably have a "come to Jesus" moment and dump it.

The water will go to the lower end, always comes out first.

Water will be at the bottom.

It's not worth the risk. Just drain and replace. $33 bucks and 30 minutes is a lot better than hoping and praying.

I just threw out $100 worth of perfectly good VR1 Racing oil and Lucas Treatment because it was too thick forced my oil pressure too high.

I went through 40qts of engine oil, most of it royal purple xpr this week. After I refi my house to change the oil one more time I'll have piece of mind.
