Default if i had water in bravo one fluid...

would it go to the bottom and i would see some come out when pulling bottom screw out? I had a leak in my outdrive top cap. Replaced the o rings and wanna check to see if water is i the fluid. Only have about one hour running time on the fluid that is in there now and dont wanna dump it if i dont have to.

Not sure if the specific gravity of gear lube is lower than water.

That said, I'd probably have a "come to Jesus" moment and dump it.

The water will go to the lower end, always comes out first.

It's not worth the risk. Just drain and replace. $33 bucks and 30 minutes is a lot better than hoping and praying.

I just threw out $100 worth of perfectly good VR1 Racing oil and Lucas Treatment because it was too thick forced my oil pressure too high.
