Default Aluminum Head Repair

Hey guys Im looking for a shop that can repair a little corrosion on a set of edelbrock heads ASAP. I have them off and will strip them down bare but I will need them welded and surfaced within the week, any luck???? Im in northern nj and will drive some to get them done. Please let me know of any contacts you may have.

Thanks Anthony

I know JimV (Valako) has welded up a couple sets of heads this summer. If you can't find local give him a call and ship them out.

In have some pics of heads I thought were destroyed that he has welded up and made new. Whomever does them make sure they are preheated.

Not sure if they can do the welding work and turn them around that quickly. You can try my buddies @ LAB Machine in Lindenhurst Long Island. 631-226-2234 ask for Lee or Richie. Richie is the best cylinder head guy I have ever known. They are not too far from northern Jersey.

Be careful, they can only weld close to the outer edge and a lot of the times the whole passage is junk...

My good friend here in Buffalo has repaired numerous heads, blocks and trans cases. I've helped him do an ear on an engine case before. He's amazing. He's a welder that runs an auto body shop.
