Curious if anyone has ever used these heads? AAMIDWEST, is located a few blocks from me. They are a huge supplier of engine cores to rebuilders and what not. One of their divisions, "engine quest", is casting these heads apparently in New Zealand. I know they were doing the small block chevy heads for a while.
The big block heads they now offer, are available in 320/360cc runner size. I was told, these were the old RHS head castings (which oddly enough RHS offered a 320/360cc runner), which I believe was a pretty good performing iron head in its day. Just curious if anyones ever used them? The price is right, and they arent chinese. Definitley not a head I'd buy assembled, but wondering how they'd be for a basic replacement of the GM/MERC rect port iron heads? If they flow like the RHS 320's did, I'd imagine they'd be a decent upgrade over the GM head. I see the bare castings going for under 500 bucks a piece.
