Looked at the build sheet the valves were PMB. The number on the valve is a stainless valve. Contacted Dart today they can repair the head also. Waiting on an email reply as to the cost. They said most Aluminum head atre easily repaired.

If you have anyone close by that's builds alot of nitrous motors I'm sure they can fix them or tell you where to go. Your head really isn't bad at all...

Man that's an easy fix. Should have seen mine after I detonated it and bent the intake valve over... There was no combustion chamber valve seats nothing. Valve seats ended up in the other bank of the motor hanging valves open. Little welding couple seats valves and good as new. That's the nice thing about aluminum.

I broke a ferrara exhaust valve last season and the damage looked exactly the same.

Did you have the head repaired? If so who? I'm looking at all options.

I didn't have mine repaired. I just baught a new set of aluminum castings and built them up per Bob Maderas specs. I went with Brodix because that is what I could get the best deal on. My block was trashed so since my boat is twin, I sold my good engine and built two new ones over the winter. It was costly, but I really enjoyed the project and wish I were doing it again minus the $$.

Off to http://www.besracing.com/ tomorrow morning. They can repair the head and rebuild the bottom end and dyno the engine when finished. .

Engine is done. Dyno scheduled for the 30th.
I want to replace the water supply hoses. The hose was just black 1 1/4 radiator hose. Is there any better product for apperence. Also any ideas for a bracket to hold the wiring harness on the back of the engine.

Thanks

If I ever buy a boat from an OSO member, I hope they're half as helpful as Rob.
