I want one of these trucks because I'm leery of the running and maintenance costs of the diesels. Do the 4L80s have problems behind 8.1s?

I'm leaning towards the 8.1 allison. I'd like 4wd but that combo seems to bring a premium.

Mine had issues when brand new. They had to replace the valve body, torque converter, and a few other parts. I put 50K on it with no issues after that.
