Looking at these they claim a 10 lb will hold a 35-40' boat. Always had galv. flukes like the looks of these.Any recommendations?

I'll donate my ex...if you want something to reliably hold you down.

I use a 2 foot spike works awsom but you have to be in shallow water so you can ush it into the bottom , means you have to get wet. But I'm a sand bar boater so it matters what n where you're anchoring good luck.

Looks like someone started with the Fortress design and prettied it up. Nice looking piece and should work well- how is the price?

I have a Fortress with 8' of stainless chain. It has NEVER let go. Sometimes I even have a hard time trying to pull it out. Looking to get a 2nd one for this coming season. Wouldn't even consider anything else.

I use the "small" box anchor. It regularly holds a 33' AT, 33' scarab AVS, a 283 checkmate and a 303 checkmate with no problem in a slight breeze. comes with storage bag and is collapsible. I use to have a big galvanized fluke anchor and it took up too much space and couldn't hold a candle to the holding power of the box. Wouldn't even consider anything else on the market after using one of these.

$275 west marine, you can also get a fancy bag to store it in $92
