Had a friend ruin a motor with KEs. Leaked inside instead of out. I will stick with my SM.

The Imco power flow plus manifolds have proven to be effective up to about 1250 hp on a blower engine on the Dyno. I believe the SM gen iii's have been used up to 1400 hp from what I've been told.

When you refer to the Keith Eickert headers are you referring to the Thunder & Lightning headers from Diamond Performance? It seems they make them now.

Boostpower

ILmor
Eddie
Madera
Pfaff

- as well as a litany of others that dont come to the top of my head

Although Im certain any builder would put them on if requested - It doesn't seem anybody but Eickert actually "leads" with this product and if their claims are true - I wonder why - Or do I just not see their popularity from the websites and the west coast?

Looks like CMI or Stellings - right on their front page Vs KE.

Or were you adding them to the " not lead with KE" list?

DelSol-Many West Coast builder out here use the Imcos and they seem to work and last really well.

I think the leak on the outside feature(thinner outer walls than inner) - is unique to SM.

FWIW if I recall correctly this came out of one of Moore books. One pic has the KE exhaust manifolds cut open view design

Forgot the KE exhaust manifolds were not really his manifolds they were PF design from Minnesota from the start. There is a story behind KE getting them to sell.

In our testing in an NA application, the CMI Sport Tubes can add maybe 15 HP at 6000+ RPM = maybe + 1 MPH.
The CMI's make some sense in racing or if bling is your primary objective. What the difference in CMI E-tops vs. SM?....nice toy!

I ran a pair of KE's for 8 years in salt and never had a problem. I also have a friend that lost (2) engines to SM leaking on the inside also, I think it comes down to how you take care of them. He used "salt away" when flushing, and this guy is anal about this stuff too.....Just sayin.....
