Can i pick up power for the msd box from the starter positive terminal? Was trying to keep wire short an not run to batt switch.

can i pick up power for the msd box from the starter positive terminal? Was trying to keep wire short an not run to batt switch.
Be sure to place the fuse as close to point of connection at the source. Fuse to slightly higher than the MSD requires to allow for the ambient temp rise in the engine compartment.
