Engine Guys help (scan tool to use) on 97 454mag mpi's

I would like to pick up a scan tool for my twin 97 454mag MPI's just to have and to make minor adjustments like to a new IAC etc..
Any recommendations without breaking the bank.. (yea I know its a boat and 10 x the cost) Any info appreciated.

and as for resetting the iac,,it finds closed position(0) on every key on.

I removed my plenum and all cables etc. to have my injectors all cleaned and tested.. Was reading an article about re-setting the throttle/ idle and IAC properly once put back together. It mentioned that it was a must once all disconnected.

Bump as I also have a similar question, are the diacom and rinda tools same or totally different, and if so how.
