Does anyone know if the style/design of the stock seebold swim platform does anything for performance? I wanted to have a aluminum swim platform built but someone mentioned that the style of the factory one acted as a built in trim tab and also as a drive shower from the exhaust. I dont know about the trim tab idea but the drive shower does not seem smart (ummm hot water) but anyway I just wanted yor opinions on this. Thanks in advance

I don't see it working as a trim tab due to the fact that it's probably not touching the water while cruising. Just my thoughts. You could always take it off, put trim tabs on it, and a drive shower.
