recommending that a person who's not even sure what series of carb to run call and talk to someone who has spent considerable time working with this stuff is solid advice.

The fact that the new carbs are highly tunable from the get go can be a benefit to a guy with a solid working knowledge of carburetors an can be a detriment to someone that isn't as well informed.

Funny how butthurt some get here when opinions vary.
Whether you buy a carb or have one built is of lesser consequence than setting it up properly.

Now, please excuse me.... I have some chains to adjust.

well my 2200cfm throttlebodies are shorter than even a 4150.just saying

You have too big of a throttle body. were they out of 750 throttle bodies ?

Tim, have you discussed the carb size with Bob M? I know he is helping you with the build , and I'm sure he has some data on which carb size to go with. I'd consult with him on it. He's worked with plenty of these builds , and I'm sure with several different sizes of carbs.
