Default Turndowns or DM tips on 29 Fever

Just curious if anyone who has run exhaust turndowns on a 29' Fever 525EFI and how did it go? Any issues with reversion when slowing down and how long did they have to be? I'm gonna have to angle them to clear the steering and if I get some I hear a hole drilled in the top of the elbow is necessary to prevent the vacuum effect. I'm also considering Drew Marine tips so same question on the reversion when slowing down and how good did they work? DAMN cops in MN!!!!

At least they have been pretty decent /relaxed a little the last couple years on the St. Croix.

Crosslake chain, now thats a different story.... they might even give a fishing boat a noice ticket .
