I would send them to Bup. He has a good reputation and has helped many OSO members with engine problems and questions. A win win.
Just remembered, I think he is from Western NY

Padraig THANKS for the comp. Not to mislead anyone. I do not have a boat dealership anymore. I still work on boats but not even close to the #'s as before. Maybe 120 to 175 boats max this year is projected.
I do own a semi custom professional fuel injector flow testing and cleaning machine. It is installed at a friend of mine machine shop that we both use from day one. He is on the auto & a few drag race side and me on the marine side. I have been doing this now for 6 years. I am also looking to put another machine in my garage at home so I can provide a faster service and grow a bigger customer base.
I am still waiting to do this because GDI = Gas direct injection is here for the marine side. keep in mind in the combustion chamber of these GDI injectors see fuel pressure of around 2500 psi give or take psi. With that said I am still weighing my options to which machine or what is coming forth to provide the best results for these apps as well.
Funny this post just came up as I just wrote a story about fuel injectors and flow testing along with cleaning them. I will post it when it comes out. I am NOT saying I am the LEADER in this service nor fuel injection but I can hold my own especially when it comes to marine apps.
If needed read my link above post # 10 for the jist of what I do. I really do not advertise this service as 98 % of my customer base is from Boat Dealerships and Mom & Pop boat repair shops thru out the USA. Currently depending on the year for them it is 45 to 75 of these marine businesses that send me their injectors. This makes it very seasonal for me and someday I would like to make this a full year job hence the machine in the garage to.
Sorry for the long post - it is a habit and I am from Eastern New York born and raised. Grew up on the Great Sacandaga Lake. Boated since birth.
I am no stranger when it comes to marine fuel injection. Again THANKS for the PLUG guys.
