Got some new 3 circuit 1050 dominators from AED. For my 588s. I'm having some trouble getting these things to idle any tips out there for a novice person trying to tune the idle

18degrees of timing at idle 36 total talking with AED I closed the secondary flaps so they are only a 1/2 turn from bottomed i did all the idle rpm adjusting off the primary to approx 1000rpm air screws on the 4 corners are at 2 turns i was able to get them much better yesterday with doing these adjustment. i am wondering what is going to happen when this thing is in the water when i pop it in gear with the 30p p5s on it

what the timing @ idle ? 3 circut carbs are primarly for drag race apps when running off a trans brake and you are beyond the accel pump shot, the inetermediate circut gives you a extra shot of fuel to keep car from falling down on the launch. what is the issue with idle ?
