I agree with all the negatives and money involved but lets also look at the flip side. That is ONE COOL BOAT..Love the Hull.

Did some more lookin on the engines. Block casting # 10068286 comes up as 4 bolt IV sort deck. Intake is for sure aluminum I held a magnet to it. Carb flange sits 1-1/2 inches above top of valve cover. Yes engines are closed cooked. And the manifolds are cooled with the antifreeze also. I don't like the way the exhaust comes out the side gonna be hard to run performance manifolds/ headers. Rear steps are weird but I kind of like it. Def a one of a kind boat. I'm anxious to see how this hull performs. Looks like it could be fast. Got 25 mirage prop on it I laid under the boat looking for scratches found one nick size of yr pinky toenail. A few scratches on the front where the crank is. Headed back out of town for work now. I'll be talking to lady tomorrow find out more info and make a offer.

mike tkach 05-26-2015 08:32 AM

yes the new pictures clearly show the intake manifold is from a 365 mag engine.you can also see the winters casting id logo on it.

Any idea how many hours are on the boat / engines / drives?

250ekelly 05-26-2015 11:10 AM

Hour meter says 100. I haven't put a battery on it yet to see if it works. Can't be much more. You can just tell it hasn't been used. Idiots just let it sit

He is looking for around 28 to 32 ft range to produce a couple of V hulls from. He is moving to TN and wants to start making a few V hull boats but has no V- hull molds as of yet to do so..

Is this the same guy who has the old profile 28 mold?

BUP 05-26-2015 01:34 PM

NO he is trying to move from CA to TN - www.cougarboats.com He just bought these last year and has no affiliation with the past Cougar boats owner. NONE. I know this guy. Has no V- hull molds.
