Yea its frustrating when I have the money to buy it and fix it. And the motivation. |
Written contract stating that I will buy X boat with HIN # if after X date and X time motor run with my labor. If after X date and X time motors do not run the contract is void.
Have done this with other Power Sport toys and has worked out in my favor. Really you need a few hrs to see if the motors atleast run. If care was taken when they were put away, and they were not blowing up before they were put away, I'm guessing they are fine. I got my dads first car running a few yrs back after sitting for 40yrs. Oil down the cylinders rebuilt the carb, primed the oil system and fresh gas she fired right up.Granted it needs alot of other work but it atleast starts. |
What's the length, the bottom is cleaner than my Gun lol........... I would also verify the pay off with the bank and see if the bank would release the title for less $$

Turbom700 that's a good idea I'll give that a try. And yr in box is full
33outlawsst its 30 or 32 I can't remember I measured it few weeks ago. And yr right getting the title from the bank still could be problem. I'll do some investigating this weekend. |
Its empty now

Like I said I find it odd that a seller and buyer has to ask what kind of boat is this. The seller can not provide paperwork and a lien release for the boat they are selling ???? Also the proper paperwork should have all the info what the boat is and the engines. Even if the a lien was on the boat they still should have some form of paper work and a Non Negotiable title of paperwork stating what the boat is and who is the lien holder.
I have boat dealer LIC and Manufacturer LIC so I deal with boat paperwork all the time - well not so much as of late. Would you be willing to give me the name of the owner / seller here if there is no way you end up with the boat. Like I said I do know someone who is moving to TN and would probable splash the hull. I could careless if the boat runs or not plus maybe down the road make this a turn key key boat for whomever. I think it would be cool to try to bring an older style hull / boat to market from a splash if all possible and hopefully a reasonable price on a new version. Thanks. |
I call second dibs if the op doesnt buy it. :)
|
Great let the guy I know make the new hulls or a new turn key boat and everyone has a shot to buy one. I think that sounds like a good idea.
Buy the new versions how ever you want - bare hull or complete I do know he is set up for infusion and has a professional interior place in TN to do that end of it as well. |

it is a Century Ultra 2 I believe .
30 years ago my brother made a mold off our 26 Monza and than built a new updated deck for it. He soon shut the doors and sold the molds to the guy who built the molds and that guy sold them to Century boats . A few years later Century updated the deck design again and built the integrated swim platform . I didn't know they ever built a ventilated bottom though. |
