Maybe I'm wrong but do the #6's create more drag in the water, less aeordynamic.? than XR's

Your Advantage Mid Cabin you have for sale is in Mint Cond. ,I have seen it.
SSM 6's are dry sumped and don't take that much hp to spin. 6's are more hydrodynamic than XR's.

I think the biggest consideration between the 2 should be repair/maint costs.
If an 1100hp/SSM6 boat has a problem and it could easily be a 30k+ problem.

not all #6 drives are dry sumped.
