When Billet Blocks first came around they were upwards of 15k time goes on manufacturing processes / tooling gets better now you can jump into a billet block for 10k. It's the same deal with the oil pan. It's billet. I'd be willing to bet the chunk of aluminum it takes to make the pan is probably $1200 to $1500.
