OK just one confusing point to me.
Everybody seems to agree the FLYWHEEL is for GEN V forged crank externally balanced (one piece main seal)
HOWEVER BLOCK casting # is 14015445 indicating MARK IV two piece main seal.
What am I missing?
Thanks everybody for the help.

From what your describing they slipped a gen 4 bbc into a spot previously occupied by a gen 5 or 6 and didnt retrofit the correct flywheel . Looks like oem painted red cast valvecovers too , on heads that should have round coolant passage holes if they be 188's . Gotta be a good story behind all that swappin .
Swore i saw a gen5+ 6 water pump mixed up in there too .
Maybe a gen 4 fwas all they could find in forged mag flavor and were in a pinch to get back on the water

Yes it has Gen V-VI water pump/fuel pump. Block has a fuel pump block-off plate installed.
I have pics of the head castings 188 for sure/block casting # 14015445 for sure/flywheel cast# 14096805 N for sure, also Merc 502 style exhaust.
Makes no sense to me!
