bought a shorter serp belt and bypassed driving the pump, no additional parts needed. Pump still spins freely so looks good for a spare.
I'll pull the PS off that port side in the off season.

$30 for the belt and I saved the pump. I'll find out what sprung a leak back there (cooler or hose) when I pull the chit off later.
