Default 1990,s 800sc motor?

lookn for info on this motor.was it a 502 block or 454?what size supercharger was on this motor and what brand?carb size?i have only seen one in a 35fountain years ago.thanks.

572ci. GM iron rectangle port heads. B&M 420 Mega Blower at 18% overdrive. Flat tappet camshaft. Twin 850 carbs. 10 rib blower belts. MR41T spark plugs. Thunderbolt ignitions. Non intercooled. Smooth idling reliable engines.

mild.what kind of boost?also was it the camshaft they used in the 525sc?.thanks.

The supercharged 572 cubic inch (9.4L) HP800SC produces a whopping 750 crankshaft horsepower (559 kW). The engine features high-quality accessories including a B & M Mega blower, dual Holly 700 CFM carburetors and stainless steel flame arrestors, thermostatically controlled oil cooler, positive crankcase ventilation valve and stainless steel tubular headers. A Huber 1050 series hydraulic transmission transfers the brute power from the 800SC to an assortment of drive options, including the MerCruiser III-A, V or Six drives.

Not same cam. I belive it was same cam used in the 600sc, something like 240/240 duration, flat tappet.. boost spec was 8psi, but most saw 6-7psi stock i believe on thier gauge. They actually only made around 750hp i believe. Reliable though. Alot milder than the 900sc setups, but less powerful as well

I believe that info is incorrect. The 600sc used the twin 700 carbs, and the 800sc got twin 850s. Going off memory though,

The 800sc was 18% overdrive, the 600sc was 7% underdrive. Same blower.
