Apparently they started life as 525sc's. They were upgraded earlier to 250's. Guy buys boat and then the rear bearings on one of the 250's lets go and trashes the rotors. Guy eventually wants to go bigger so he went with the 8-71's. Just using what he has and taming down the 8-71's a little for the time being. Should be a good build over the winter.

Great upgrade. I think he'd be underdriving it? My only concern with the single carb on the 871 would be fuel distribution issues. I think going with twin 750s on it would be the way to go.

They sure look alot cooler than stock 525sc's now
